My question exactly! post-Salon? Anyways, since Mieke didn't change her link on her site (until she linked to you today), had no idea where you were...still stuck on "not your father's bridge mix"!

So you moved to upstate NewYork just at the time time that we moved to Switzerland. We used to pick up our US mail in upstate NY, albeit probably much farther upstate than where you probably are ( I am guessing HRV, which is where I have wanted to live ever since reading Trixie Belden). I rather enviously assume that you are much more unpacked and moved-in than we are. I am waiting impatiently for you to get to Chapter 3 of your organization book (I'd rather you be my guide in this, because I desperately need one). At least you are not sleeping ("NOT sleeping" being the operative term, since I do not last longer than 5 hours) on government-supplied mattresses (ours was the last queen size in the warehouse...I think I know why), so you are way ahead of us in comfort (I keep wanting to phone the Hastens store in Zurich -- the only place I can think to get a North American sized mattress -- to ask how much for a "sleep system", knowing full well I won't be able to afford one!). I bet that I am probably way ahead in raw milk cheese department though. (an aside: do you have cows? Our neighbour does, and this being Switzerland, they are belled, and so tinkle long in to the night... cows bells are the Swiss crickets...)

Of course, part of me is wondering if you didn't direct your loyal readers to your new site if it may have been because you were trying to lose them...
